Diamond Development Initiatives (DDI) is a Nigerian not-for-profit organization established in 2002. DDI provides technical support and enterprise management services to organizations. We assist in business planning, product design, marketing, identification of marketing channels, and facilitation of market linkages. Our aim is to help organizations enhance their business operations and achieve sustainable growth.
How does DDI contribute to agricultural value chain development and commodity market access?
DDI works with smallholder farmers’ groups, cooperatives, and producer groups to provide sustained value chain development and improvement. We offer a range of services necessary for enhancing agricultural products as they move from the farm/producer to the final consumer. Our focus is on increasing the incomes of farmers by facilitating efficient product marketing and access to commodity markets.

These states include Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, and the FCT Abuja. We continue to explore opportunities to expand our projects’ reach and scope to all the states of Nigeria, depending on specific challenges, government readiness, private sector collaborations, and donor focus.
