Agricultural Value Chain Development
DDI provides sustained value chain development and improvement to smallholder farmers’ groups and cooperatives, with access to the range of services necessary for enhancing agricultural products as they move from farm/producer to final consumer. DDI also assists CBOs, farmers cooperatives and producer groups, to increase their members’ incomes through efficient product marketing.
Off-Grid/Renewable Energy Support
DDI, with support from the USADF and other partners, has championed the cause of empowering Nigerian renewable energy companies in providing off-grid, renewable and affordable power to underserved and unserved communities across 18 states in Nigeria. In 2013, USADF launched the Off-Grid Energy Challenge to provide clean, safe, cost-effective, renewable and affordable energy to rural communities across Africa.
Employability Enhancement & Entrepreneurship Program
DDI facilitates the provision of globally competitive and sought-after vocational and entrepreneurial skills to young people and youth /women entrepreneurs, as a response to the global need to promote small enterprise development and job creation in underserved communities – while contributing to the reduction of unemployment amongst youth in Nigeria.
Business Support & Enterprise Management
DDI provides technical support and enterprise management services to organizations (including youth- and women-led enterprises) through business planning, design and marketing of products, identification of marketing channels, and facilitation of market linkages.
Grants Management and Due Diligence Services
DDI provides technical assistance and due diligence services to donors, corporate entities, and grant beneficiaries in areas such as screening, pre-grant award/pre-engagement due diligence, financial record-keeping, disbursement tracking, project and financial reporting, budget formulation and management, project monitoring and evaluation, and grant closeouts.
